We do a regular series on Instagram called #PrestonPeople where we feature a local person, group, or business. Recently we featured Charlie Kenworthy – the man behind the best pizza in Preston! Here’s what Charlie had to tell us about what he does and why he loves being based in Preston.
Society1: Tell us a bit about you and what you do:
CHAR: My name is Charlie and I am a self trained pizza chef based out of Lost Bar & Pizzeria & Chain House Brew Co, serving neo-neapolitan style pizzas with an expanding menu (starters, sides, desserts and dips on the way).
Society1: What do you love about being in Preston?
CHAR: Preston is a fantastic place, having lived here all my life. I love that my friends and family now have somewhere they can meet and share good times.
Society1: Tell us what’s on your perfect Pizza!
CHAR: You cannot go wrong with a Margherita using san marzano tomato, parmigiano, basil leaves, fresh mozzarella (and maybe a few anchovies on there too.)
Society1: What is your “go-to” local business in Preston?
CHAR: Definitely By Havana Co for personalised stickers, t-shirts, bookmarks, tableware, etc. You name it, she does it!
