Preston People - The 12 Pubs of Christmas
December wouldn’t be complete without great pubs, festive cheer, and a few well-earned pints — and that’s exactly what the 12 Pubs of Christmas is all about. For this edition of Preston People, we caught up with the team behind the 12 Pubs of Christmas to find out what it’s all about, why Preston’s pub scene is so special, and how you can get involved this festive season.
1. Tell us a bit about you.
We’re the people behind Preston Pub Festival, and this festive season, we’re celebrating the 12 Pubs of Christmas — a festive celebration of Preston’s independent pubs and bars. Throughout December, we encourage people to explore the city, support local venues, and enjoy great drinks, food, and atmosphere along the way.
2. What do you love about Preston?
The pubs. The people. The community.
Preston has an incredible independent pub scene, we all work together to make the city a great place to be, and that’s worth celebrating.
3. How can people get involved?
It’s easy! Pick up a 12 Pubs of Christmas postcard from any participating venue, visit the pubs throughout December, and collect your stamps at your own pace. (Share your completed postcard with us on social media to be in the running to win a Christmas gift from the pubs!)
4. What pubs are included in the line-up?
The 12 Pubs of Christmas are:
Bar Pintxos, The Black Horse, Chain House Tap Room, The Guild Ale House, The Continental, The Moorbrook, The Old Vic, Plug & Taps, PLAU, The Orchard, Winckley St Ale House & Winedown
Make sure you get to the participating independent venues for a drink or two this Christmas!
